When it comes to intrigue and romance, danger and adventure, I can safely say that today’s soap operas have nothing on those ancient characters of Greek mythology.

Zeus the god of the underworld fathered Hercules with Almena, a mortal. Helen, daughter of Zeus and Leda, influenced by Aphrodite, ran off with Paris, who came to her in the form of her husband Menelaus.

For centuries those myths have provided mystery and adventure. Enough so to give us today volumes of biographies, genealogies, dictionaries and countless other material that would put ‘real’ biographies to shame.

It was enough to make me wonder; can mere ‘stories’ stand the test of times with such resilience. Were they just myths, or were they normal occurrences in the lives of ancient Grecians?

The similarities between the scripture and myth lead me to believe that these liaisons between spirit and flesh were very real! Most persons would assume that after the flood these rendezvous would have been terminated, but the Greek myths dating well after the flood gives root to questions. Were the Greeks merely reproducing Biblical facts to their own merit? Are we to rely on their veracity?

National Geographic vol 170. No. 2 relates a story written by Mr. Tim Severin. It recounts his experimental voyage according to the one taken by Odysseus. Every geographic landmark was parallel to that encountered by Odysseus!

Now, as for the creatures mentioned in some of the myths; are we to pay any head to the sighting of the infamous two headed monster? A documentary on Siamese twins convinced me concerning this question. It showed two little girls joined on by the torso with tow arms and four legs to share between them. The documentary explained that the cell (or egg) didn’t split completely, leaving the pair ‘inseparable’. An operation would have terminated the life of both.

So we take on giant, add to that a Siamese birth, hence, we have our two headed giant! The Greeks knew what they were talking about.

Gen 6:1

And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,

Gen 6:2

That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they [were] fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.

Gen 6:4

There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare [children] to them, the same [became] mighty men which [were] of old, men of renown

Num 13:33

And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, [which come] of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.

The question that comes next is; how did this occur? The women who married these ‘fallen angels’ unwittingly, did so under some form of practice. There was a very logical explanation as to how these transactions took place. We much first remember the incident with Eve and the serpent. Satan couldn’t approach Eve as himself. Eve would never have responded to Satan’s coercion if he had appeared to her in his spirit form. Adam was the only other human in the garden. All other living things were plants and animal.

Spirits cannot interact with human beings, or be seen with the naked eye under normal circumstances. In the book ‘He Came to Set the Captives Free’ by Rebecca M. Brown M.D., it states that vegetarianism causes the level of Akasa (a chemical found in small amount in the body) to sky rocket. This is to be obtained by strict adherence to a vegetarian diet and chastity. This chemical allows demons more control over and interaction with humans. This would also explain the need for both serpent and fallen angels to disguise them. The plans of these evil beings would never have come to fruition if they didn’t have the knowledge of the fact that veganism was a way of life in pre-flood times. Does this mean that veganism is still a danger today’s society?

1Ti 4:1

Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

1Ti 4:2

Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

1Ti 4:3

Forbidding to marry, [and commanding] to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.

 In one particular Religion I have noted where veganism is mandatory, the people suffer from either voracious appetites, binging on sweets, or carbohydrates in excess, or they have an insatiable sexual appetite. None of these reactions are good.

God in his mercy introduced the omnivorous diet to Noah and his family in hopes of preventing these past evils from spreading amongst the new inhabited world. Satan and his demons are powerless unless they have a human host to work through. The fallen angels had to take on the form of flesh. Without it they would have been sighted as spirits and unable to perform earthly activities. A powerful evil spirit coupled with a human body could only result in the direst consequences. And we have no guarantee that instances in this particular vein are not ongoing.

Celibacy and veganism have intensified in the past twenty years and Satan wishes nothing more than to see people fall into one of his subtle traps.

Before you undertake a particular diet, or religion, look into it carefully. Get as much information about its origin as possible. Don’t be too quick to leap into something new based on popularity, or opinion. Food affects both body and soul; remember one cannot function without the other.

According to Dr. Ingraham. The foods you eat can positively or negatively effect your emotions and outlook on life. He includes that eggs and animal protein, especially beef, are essential for balancing cholesterol.

Extreme low levels of animal protein consistently in one’s diet result in anemia, lethargy and eating binges. This can lead to dangerous weight fluctuation, obesity, paranioa frustration, and irritability.
